Writing Proofs in LaTeX
LaTeX is the undisputed standard of text-processors for mathematical papers. In this course you will use LaTeX to write your proofs. LaTeX is freely available and relatively easy to install on both PCs running Windows and Macbooks; it is included with most Linux distributions. You can also write LaTeX documents using web-based tools.
Here is a very brief list of resources you may find helpful:
writeLaTeX: Web-based LaTeX document preparation.
Detexify LaTeX handwritten symbol recognition: Draw a symbol and the site will tell you the LaTeX code for the symbol!
The Not So Short Introduction to LaTeX 2e: A good text and reference for taking your LaTeX skills to the next level.
